 Here are some average (non-inflated) rates for various services offered in the Hypnosis field to give you an idea of what you are getting into:

     The average Hypnotist conducting Individual Hypnosis Sessions makes between $100 to $150 per session.  A session runs approximately 1 to 1 1/2 hours.  Your income of course is directly related to your advertising efforts.  An average full time Hypnotist can easily have between 2 and 5 sessions a day.  Imagine if you were above average?

     With Group Hypnosis Sessions for topics such as Smoking Cessation, Weight Loss, Past Life Regression or Relaxation, you would normally charge clients between $45 and $65 to attend.  An average attendance would be approximately 15 to 200 clients which works out to be approximately $675.00 to $9,000.00 for a session using the lower rate of $45 a client.  Sessions usually lasts approximately 1- 2 hours.

  How large are the training classes?

• At Hypnosis Long Island Training School we keep our hypnosis training classes small so that we can make sure that each student is able to get individual attention so that the class meets his or her needs.  In no case will our training certification exceed 8 students.

How much supervised practice and skill-building is given at the hypnosis school?

               A student will become a successful hypnotist, only if sufficient time is given at school to attempt and master the techniques covered in the training.  Ask, how much time is given for the development of hypnosis skills, while being supervised by a certified and experienced Hypnotist?

• At Hypnosis Long Island Training School our students practice the techniques they are learning nearly every day.  Practice is done under the supervision of a highly skilled and experienced Hypnotist. Our school offers the time, support and supervision to aid you through your certification.

Can I become a Hypnotist by going through an on-line training course that some schools offer?

These online programs allow for the student to learn independently at their own pace with help from a distant hypnotist.  A certification through this method can be achieved with less ambition and effort.  However, the knowledge and experience you gain will reflect what is offered from the school.  The major disadvantage of distance learning is that it does not allow for you to practice hypnosis under supervision.  You can learn all the information from distance learning, however the practice and application of hypnosis is learned on your own, not in a school setting.
